United Misfit Linked With Serie A Move

|

In the game against Huddersfield Town, a game that ended 1-1 and saw Manchester United’s hopes of Champions League football, next season, ended, we saw Alexis Sanchez limp off, down the tunnel, injured.

The magnitude of the limp suggested that we won’t see the 30-year-old Chilean international in action again this season.

However, there is a consensus of opinion, among the United support, that perhaps we may have seen the last of the under-performing striker in a United shirt ever.

His performances, this season, have not lived up to his exorbitant salary and he looks a shadow of the player he was when he was on the books of Arsenal.

To that effect, it’s pleasing to see speculation has emerged that implies Sanchez will be leaving Old Trafford this summer.

Lurking in the pages of the Italian news vehicle, Gazzetta, is the inference that the Chilean’s agent has been in direct talks with Inter Milan about a possible move to the club.

All we can hope for is that Inter remember just how good he looked in an Arsenal shirt as opposed to a Manchester United shirt otherwise we could be stuff with Sanchez for a while to come.
