This summer, would we really be too surprised if Paul Pogba was to leave Old Trafford for a second time?
Personally, I wouldn’t!
In recent weeks there has been too much smoke for there to be no fire when it comes to the Frenchman leaving our club.
The latest mutterings provided by the mainstream media don’t offer us any hope that the 26-year-old is prepared to knuckle down and remain at Old Trafford.
According to the Telegraph, the only thing holding up a move away from United, to Real Madrid, is the size of the transfer fee with the Spanish giants unwilling, at the moment, to match the £160 million valuation the club has placed on Pogba’s head.
But perhaps the biggest indication that Pogba’s future does lie elsewhere comes from the news source, ESPN, which is championing the inference that Pogba will, this summer, push for a United departure if the club refuses to sell him.
As they say, if he doesn’t want to play for the club, then get rid!
