A tug of war, in a transfer sense, could see Manchester United try and sign the German, Marco Reus.

The 28-year-old forward, currently on the books of Borussia Dortmund, hasn`t played since the end of last season when he suffered a serious knee injury.

But that hasn`t stopped his future being discussed, with the red-top media source, the Daily Star, suggesting that both Arsenal and Manchester United are set to tempt Reus to leave Dortmund.

However, Dortmund want to retain the services of the player and our source carried a quote picked up from another source, Kicker whereby the Dortmund sporting director, Michael Zorc, is quoted as having remarked,

‘We see Marco with us in the long run.’

Reus has, previously, hinted he might move on when his current deal, which expires in 2019, although if that were to be the case then Dortmund could be open to a sale come the summer of 2018 or risk losing the player for nothing.

Would you fancy Manchester United signing Marco Reus?
