With the transfer window set to slam shut on Wednesday evening, it remains to be seen whether Manchester United make any further additions to the squad.

However, transfer speculation in the media suggests that plans are already afoot to add to the squad this coming summer.

The good folk of the red-top publication, Daily Mirror, are championing the suggestion that, having signed one Chilean international in Alexis Sanchez, Manchester United are set to add a second this summer.

Our referenced source is reporting that Bayern Munich are set to part-company with their midfielder Arturo Vidal.

Vidal, at 30-years-of-age, is a combative midfielder who`d bring a bit of bite to that area of the team, however, Bayern Munich won`t part company with the player until they have signed a replacement, in this case Leon Goretzka.

As for potential rivals for the signature of Vidal, Chelsea get a mention by our referenced source.

Here at Vital Manchester United we`ll keep a watchful eye out for any further developments.
