Nestling amongst the transfer speculation yesterday was the inference that Manchester United are interested in a youngster currently on a contract with another Premier League club.

According to the good folk of the news source ESPN, the player on Manchester United`s radar is Domingos Quina

Quina, just 17-years-of-age, is currently on the books of West Ham United and was on the bench for their fixture at Vicarage Road, against Watford, yesterday.

Our referenced source implies that Manchester United scouts were in attendance when Quina played for the Portuguese U19 side in their game against Spain last week, a game in which he scored.

Quina has been at West Ham since 2016 when he was signed from Chelsea.

The players reluctance to put pen-to-paper on a new long term deal has seen Manchester United`s interest ramp up.

We`ll keep an eye out for any further developments and report back as deemed necessary.
