Has Jose Mourinho finally identified that winger he`s been seeking for quite a while?

Perhaps, according to the local news vehicle, Manchester Evening News.

Our source is reporting that Mourinho was spotted in the stands at the recent World Cup play-off between Italy and Sweden.

His target, so it is being reported by our source, was the Swedish winger Emil Forsberg who is on the books of the German side RB Leipzig.

Forsberg, 26-years-of-age, has been impressing in the Bundesliga this season, catching the eye of several top European clubs.

The winger has the same agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, as our summer Swedish signing, Victor Lindelof and our source infers that it was “highly likely” that Manchester United would be making a move for the player.

However, it would seem that the player is aware of the attention from Manchester United and is quoted by our aforementioned source as remarking in the German news vehicle Bild,

‘I also read that in the papers, my focus is on RB.’

Forsberg is contracted to RB Leipzig until 2022, a deal would, it appear, require some negotiating if the player is to end up at Old Trafford.
