I always find it interesting to see how those who once played for Manchester United and choose to go into management develop their careers.

Last week we briefly covered how Roy Keane had sought confirmation from the Ipswich owner that his job was not in jeopardy after scurrilous paper talk had suggested it was.

Today, news has broken that another of our midfield stalwarts, Paul Ince, could be on the verge of a managerial return.

Ince started off in spectacular fashion in management with Macclesfield and MK Dons before a spell at Blackburn Rovers ended disappointingly.

Taken back on by MK Dons, Ince left with half a dozen or so games to go of last season unable to make the same impact he made in his first spell at the Buckinghamshire club.

Now it appears that Plymouth Argyle could be Ince`s next stop. Argyle had a miserable season last time out and not even the former Plymouth legend, Paul Mariner, could turn their fortunes around.

It`ll be interesting to see if Ince, if appointed, can turnaround the fortunes of the Devon club!
