Sat on the fence, with regards to anything to do with the financial side of the club, we still find it interesting to view what`s going on.

Yesterday, we openly admitted that due to our financial virginity we didn`t understand the implications of the mooted financial deal that still left our debt at over £560 million.

But those who belong to the Manchester United Supporter`s Trust haven`t been slow in coming forward to express their views on the current Glazer situation with their spokesperson, Duncan Drysdale, remarking,

“We all believe the Glazers would have used the money from the Cristiano Ronaldo sale and anything else they could get their hands on to pay this latest debt. But when you see adverts in the national and local Press offering tickets for our next three home games – on top of protests about their handling of the club – there`s no way they can risk alienating even more fans.”

“The Glazers pricing policy has killed United as the golden ticket. Before they came in, tickets were like gold dust.”

Could we innocently point out that the capacity these days might have something to do with it as well as the fact that people have less spare cash to spend in the current financial climate!

Or would that be just churlish?
