Ryan Giggs, as one of the older statesmen in the squad on tour in North America, seems to be copping for more than his fair share of media interviews.

In one such interview, Ryan has talked about his own status and how his game has changed over the past few years culminating in also giving a hint of what could be next in store for the Welsh legend.

This is what Ryan had to say,

“I`ve lost my explosive pace where I could knock the ball past a defender and knew I would beat him. Now I have to think more about my game and use the ball a lot better. In my head I`m still about 25 – I don`t feel like the old guy in the dressing room.”

“I can relate to the young players – we`re footballers who all share a lot of the same interests.”

“As far as my playing days are concerned, it`s a case of seeing how I feel at the end of each season and whether I`m still enjoying it and am motivated each day.”

“I`m in the middle of doing my coaching badges as I want to be prepared for when I retire but I have no plans at the moment.”

Could Ryan Giggs be a potential member of the Old Trafford coaching staff or would he be better served doing his own thing away from where he`s spent so many years.
