Did anybody else have their heart in their mouth when Nemanja Vidic brought down Demba Ba on the stroke of half time at Upton Park yesterday?

With the crowd baying for a red card, there was a real sigh of relief when the referee, Lee Mason, only produced a yellow card.

A red card would have seen our club captain notch up red cards in successive Premier League matches having see red at Stamford Bridge last time out.

Reflecting on the incident, afterwards, you get the impression that Sir Alex Ferguson had that same hear tin the mouth feeling as we did, when he mused,

“He could have been sent off the time Ba went through. It was outside the box but he could have been sent off, I think, maybe, he got a lucky break.”

We`re certainly not complaining!
