Darren Fletcher got his season under way with a fine performance topped off with a goal in our opening fixture, against Newcastle United.

The talented Scottish midfielder is a mainstay of the United side and ahead of the weekend clash with Mark Hughes` Fulham, the Scot has issued a warning to our opposition, stating that the United that beat Newcastle wasn`t the finished article but that it will come, remarking,

“At the beginning of the season you`re still finding your awareness.”

“You can`t beat the Premier League for tempo. In the next couple of games we`ll get our touch back.”

Sunday will be a tough fixture, especially as it wasn`t a happy hunting ground last season, but if Fletcher can sit in the middle of the park and influence proceedings we should be okay I reckon!
