Our unbeaten run may continue but our away record is still pretty ordinary.

Before commencing the fixture against Birmingham, Sir Alex Ferguson had warned it would be a tough affair and so it proved as United had to settle for yet another draw on the road.

But it was a draw clouded with controversy. The late equaliser, netted by Kevin Phillips in the eighty-ninth minute almost proved too much for Sir Alex who was very quick, and probably very just, to criticise the referee, Lee Mason, in his post match interview when he curtly remarked,

“There was a handball and a foul for the goal. If the referee can`t see that, what chance have we got?”

“I have no complaints with my players. We deserved to win. It`s terribly harsh. We outplayed them.”

Some we win and some we lose but the neutrals might very well suggest that Birmingham, for their spirited effort, got what they deserved.

How about you?
