It`s not in the nature of Sir Alex Ferguson to not make a point when he believes he has a genuine one!

Following the hard fought draw, at Birmingham, a fixture in which we conceded a very contentious late equaliser, Sir Alex remains convinced that the goal should not have stood, remarking in the tabloid press,

“I thought it was a foul and I thought it was handball. I don`t think it was offside. But their guy said at the end he handballed it, so there you go.”

Furthermore, Sir Alex believes the scorer of the goal, Lee Bowyer, shouldn`t have been on the pitch after a crude tackle on Darren Gibson, remarking,

“I thought it was a red card. He`s gone over the top of the ball.”

Robbed! How`s that saying go?

At least Dick Turpin had a mask on!
