Our youngsters, in the FA Youth Cup, pulled off a remarkable victory despite staring defeat in the face at Anfield.

Trailing by 2-0, the youngsters emerged victors 3-2 with the goals coming from Lionel Cole (pen) and Ravel Morrison, who got a brace.

But the match was not without incident with two players from each side being shown red-cards by the referee, David Coote.

The first United player to see red was Paul Pogba who was bizarrely dismissed, after receiving a second yellow card, for a stutter in his run up to take a penalty.

The second United player to be dismissed was Tyler Blackett who, in the dying moments, was dismissed for violent behaviour after tangling with a Liverpool player.

In the two legged semi-final we now face the current holders of the trophy – Chelsea.

They promise to be two cracking matches!
