United still seem, according to the tabloid press, to be embroiled in a search for another keeper.

Having already signed the Dane, Anders Lindegaard, the tabloid press is reporting that we`re actively seeking a replacement for the retiring Edwin van der Sar.

Today (Wednesday), the red-top press is linking us with a £16 million move for the excellent French keeper Hugo Lloris.

Lloris, at twenty-four years of age, has attracted rave reviews playing for Lyon and has given the media hacks something to get their teeth into by commenting about a possible move away from Lyon,

“Manchester United is a great football institution. It`s one of the clubs with the most titles in the world. So, of course, they`re one of the teams I dream about playing for.”

And we believe that Lloris would, even at £16 million, would prove to be a splendid buy!
