United Defender Set for Serie A Return

|

The Manchester United career of Matteo Darmian appears to be coming to an inevitable conclusion.

The 28-year-old Italian right-back has barely featured for Manchester United, in the Premier League, this season, with Jose Mourinho preferring to call upon the services of Antonio Valencia.

As a consequence, Darmian is expected to return to Serie A, with it being suggested that Inter Milan, Napoli, Roma and Juventus could all be potential destinations.

However, according to the news source, the Sun on Sunday, it is the latter who will be acquiring the services of the defender.

Our source is reporting that the Italian news vehicle, Tuttosport, are confident that Darmian has told Juventus he is, come the summer, willing to make the move.

Juventus, managed by Massimiliano Allegri, are keen to recruit a right-back with Dani Alves having left the Turin based club after just one season.

Here at Vital Manchester United we’d be sad to see Darmian leave but the player is at the stage of his career where he needs regular first-team football, something he clearly isn’t getting at Old Trafford.
