One interesting piece of speculation hitting the pages of a tabloid publication this morning relates to Manchester United solving their right-back problem.

Our good friends over at The Sun are of the opinion that Louis van Gaal and his team have, after missing out on several targets, namely Nathaniel Clyne and Dani Alves, decided that the Everton right-back Seamus Coleman is the answer.

The Irish international defender is, so the tabloid informs us, rated in the £20 million bracket and Manchester United hope to persuade the Goodison Park to sell their 26-year-old asset.

Whilst Everton might, initially, have no intention of selling Coleman the fact that the two clubs have done business, successfully, in the past, could sway matters.

There`s also the possibility that Manchester United could offer Adnan Januzaj, on loan for the season, bearing in mind that, yesterday, the speculation was that Roberto Martinez wanted the young Belgian international.

We`ll endeavour to keep a close eye on this one, it could develop into something!
