With Wayne Rooney forced to watch from the sidelines tonight, courtesy of his two game suspension, it looks exceedingly like two other United players will lead the England front line tonight.

Seeing as Roy Hodgson favours a 4-4-2 formation, we believe that Ashley Young and Danny Welbeck will be tasked with breaking down what could well be a resolute French defence.

Young, who now has the confidence to belief in himself at this level, will be looking for his pace and trickery to serve him well whilst Wellbeck, fresh from his delightful winner against Belgium, in a recent friendly, will be looking to take advantage of any chances that may fall his way.

For both players, the chance to impress on such a grand stage is something they`ll both relish, let`s hope the performances they give are sufficient for England to get the result it craves this afternoon.
