Apparently it`s okay to show, and be able to lip read Andy Carroll telling the referee to f**k off in the Carling Cup Final after a decision went against him.

But if you make some sort of remark on Twitter that offends somebody then you will feel the full force of the Football Association.

Following on from the ex-United youngster Ravel Morrison`s brush with the FA over a recent homophobic quote, it now transpires that the crackdown has trawle din its nets a certain Federicho Macheda.

The Italian, on loan at Queens Park Rangers, is amongst a trio of young players that have fallen foul of the FA’s crackdown on homophobic tweets and now faces a charge.

A word of advice young man, just steer clear of these social networking sites, they`re just not worth the hassle!
