Jose Mourinho has made it perfectly clear that Bastian Schweinsteiger is not part of his plans for the coming season.

In fact we suspect that the German midfielder has more chance of winning the National Lottery than pulling on a Manchester United shirt in anger again.

However, with Schweinsteiger and Manchester United doing their best to find the player a route out of Old Trafford, there does appear to be interest in the player from the continent.

According to the Daily Star Sunday, Click Here, the Turkish club Galatasaray are looking at acquiring the services of the player.

But it seems that Galatasaray are also after the services of another thirty-something on Manchester United`s books, the other player being Antonio Valencia.

Our referenced source goes on to imply that Galatasaray are willing to pay a sum of £4.25 million for the duo which, to me, looks a little light and I doubt that Manchester United would be willing to accept.

Perhaps a bit of good old fashioned negotiation is needed before this deal can be concluded.
