Advances in the manner in which football goes about its business continue to shape our national game.

On and off the field, technology and financial avenues are continually exploited to make the Manchester United machine leaner and meaner.

The latest to be announced is a five year tie up with Toshiba that will see the Japanese giant fund the provision of the latest medical equipment being installed at our training facility, equipment designed to speed up injury recovery as well as give an early diagnosis.

Discussing the link-up, ahead of the fixture with Stoke, Sir Alex Ferguson has remarked to the media,

“This is the most important step we have made in a long, long time. This partnership brings a new dimension of sports science and medical facilities for our players and puts us above most clubs in the league.”

Above most!

Do you mean there are others out there with better facilities?
