One name being linked to a move to Old Trafford this summer, as Manchester United seek to boost their striking options is the Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain.

Higuain is currently on the books of Napoli and this season has scored 27 goals in 57 games.

However, it appears the players` quest to play in the Champions League could shape his future.

Napoli needs to win their final game of the season, and their final game with Rafael Benitez in charge, to clinch third place in La Liga and a Champions League qualification tie.

Although Higuain has a ?100 million buy-out clause in his contract, it is believed that Napoli would be willing to sell if the player were to push for a move.

Talk in the media is that a bid, from Manchester United, of ?60 million could see United hold off attention from Arsenal and Atletico Madrid to secure the player.
