February may be one of the shortest months of the Premier League season, with only three matches played, but there is still the all important vote.
Smalling, it probably won`t surprise you, is amongst the Premier League nominees for the PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month award for February.
Some good candidates amongst this list, the Chelsea and Liverpool fans will no doubt set about voting, hopefully we can share this article and get him the votes he needs.
Chris Smalling
Only one player made more interceptions than him in February, who has become a mainstay at the back once again for United.
Big performance. Big win! Happy Sunday. 😁 #MUFC #GGMU #OldTrafford #ManUtd pic.twitter.com/Ctz7Zj9MNT

While his place in the starting XI may be as much a consequence of injuries as his own ability to impress Jose Mourinho, Smalling was an absolute rock for Manchester United throughout February – the central defender playing a key role in a clean sheet against Huddersfield and keeping Alvaro Morata quiet in the 2-1 win over Chelsea last weekend. Three Premier League outings have seen the England international make five tackles, ten interceptions (only one player in the division recorded more in February) and 14 clearances while winning 13 aerial duels.
Can’t argue with a clean sheet away from home in the first leg. Bring them back to Old Trafford. 💪🏽 #MUFC #GGMU pic.twitter.com/gKpTZfrPFD
