A little article in one of the Sunday tabloids brought a smile to my face this morning.

It would appear that our manager, Louis van Gaal, is concerned about training sessions, at our Carrington HQ, being interrupted by delivery vans.

In fact it seems that the Dutch boss might have become a little paranoid as Louis is of the opinion that these delivery vans should be barred from entering the Carrington facility whilst training sessions are going on.

Apparently, aside from the distraction, Louis has this opinion that the drivers might be spying on what is going on.

Now I`ve heard stories of scouts for other teams peering over fences and of the odd drone or two flying over a training ground but spying van drivers?

Surely not!

I`d be interested to see how recruitment of such people would be done, would the advert read something like this:-

WANTED VAN DRIVER

Must be capable of delivering fresh food to the training HQ of one of the worlds` most famous football clubs. Experience and a clean licence must be essential. The successful candidate must be of decent character but be able to (secretly) film what is going on and feed the information back to us

Is Louis losing the plot, or is it just me?
