Last season many would suggest that our title challenge hit an enormous hiccup when Everton came to Old Trafford and drew 4-4.

Some people suggest that draw hit us hard and handed hope to Manchester City and?.well???.the rest is history.

As we prepare to face Everton again, at Old Trafford, Sir Alex Ferguson has intimated that the same will not happen this season, with the boss remarking to the media,

“It`s about anticipating the unexpected and we didn`t do that against Wigan or Everton.”

“We were 4-2 up against Everton with seven minutes to go and that definitely cost us the league, no question.”

“It was a bad blow for us and it won`t happen again.”

“The team are really playing well, I`m pleased with the form. Sunday`s the next stage, then Real Madrid and then the FA Cup.”

“It`s a terrific spell for Manchester United and you can`t but help feel this is the way we should be.”

Let`s hope lightning doesn`t strike twice then shall we.
