It seems that Manchester United have been very prudent when it comes to the loan of Andreas Pereira, to Valencia.

Pereira, a 21-year-old midfielder who is tipped to have a marvellous future in the game, was supposed to spend the complete 2017 / 2018 season on loan with the LA Liga club.

However, according to the red-top publication, the Daily Star, picking up on something mentioned by the Spanish news source Marca, Pereira could return to Old Trafford in January.

The confirmation relating to this came from the Valencia director Mateu Alemany, who is quoted as having remarked,

“I would not have made comments, but as the other club has done, I say that it is true that there is the option to recall him in conditions that I will keep confidential, but there is a compensation for Valencia.”

Strange when you consider, earlier this month, the same person admitted he knew nothing about a recall clause!
As to how much compensation Manchester United would have to pay remains a mystery, like so much in life!
