A few facts the ABU brigade envy!

Manchester United holds the record for most top-division titles (20), the joint most FA Cups (12, with Arsenal), and the most FA Cup Final appearances (19).

Manchester United holds the record for the most Premier League titles (13), and was the first English team to win the European Cup (1968).

We are the only English (and British) side to win the Intercontinental Cup, beating Palmeiras from Brazil 1-0 in the 1999 final played in the National Stadium, Tokyo, Japan, scorer: Roy Keane.

United are also the only English (and British) side to win the FIFA Club World Cup, beating LDU Quito from Ecuador 1-0 in the 2008 final played in the International Stadium Yokohama, Japan, scorer: Wayne Rooney.

United are the envy of every opposing football fan in England because we are the greatest and most successful football club in the land, with the most charismatic manager the British game has ever seen, Jose Mourinho, and no matter who tries to knock us we just keep bouncing back!

I love it. I really, really love it when the ABUs come out of their cupboards.

Did You Know That?

Aston Villa (1982), Chelsea (2012), Glasgow Celtic (1967), Liverpool (1981, 1984, 2005) and Nottingham Forest (1980) have all lost in the final of the Intercontinental Cup/FIFA World Club Championship.

United lost the 1968 Intercontinental Cup in a two-legged final versus the Argentinean side, Estudiantes, losing the away leg 1-0 and drawing the home leg 1-1 (Willie Morgan scored).
