The Transfer Grapevine Is Alive When It Comes To Manchester United Improving Their Squad In January

|

With the opening of the January transfer window not too far away, speculation has started to ramp up with regards to whom Manchester United might be looking to bring to Old Trafford.

This morning the club are linked with the possible acquisition of two 19-year-olds who look to have glittering futures in the game.

The first, according to The Manchester Evening News, is a striker who hit the headlines earlier this season when he scored a Champions League hat-trick with the striker in question being Erling Braut Haaland.

Haaland, currently on the books of Red Bull Leipzig and already a Norwegian international is on the wanted books of several top clubs but our quoted source implies Manchester United are the favourites to sign the player.

The second, according to The Sun, is a midfielder, who is also 19-years-of-age, is the Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali, a player who is also interesting our near-neighbours Manchester City and also Inter Milan.

In our view, both would be fine acquisitions to a Manchester United squad that is being built with a glorious future in mind.

But whether we’ll be successful in bringing, both or just one to the club remains to be seen.
