Wish-lists, as far as the forthcoming transfer window go, are changing by the minute.
Well, perhaps not that frequently, but you know the score, today’s wishes are tomorrows fish-and-chip paper.
But today, as we wait for the weekend fixtures, the news vehicle, Talksport, has put its proverbial head above the parapet to suggest that they know who the three main targets are on Manchester United’s shopping list.
The first is somebody we’ve generated numerous column inches writing about on this site, the 27-year-old Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, no surprises there.
The second is the experienced (another way of saying getting on a bit) Barcelona midfielder, Ivan Rakitic, with the player already the ripe age of thirty, a little surprising perhaps.
The third is the young Crystal Palace full-back, Aaron Wan-Bissaka. At 21-years-of-age, Bissaka has made a huge impact in the Premier League, under the tutorship of Roy Hodgson. From what we can make out, here at Vital Manchester United, this is the first time Bissaka’s name has been linked with a move to Old Trafford and is, probably, the most surprising of the three names put forward by our source.
No doubt, as we mentioned earlier, the trio of names at the top of the wish-list will change, but it keeps matters interesting does it not!
