As Manchester United prepares to take on Leicester City this afternoon, Jose Mourinho will be looking for his side to take the three points on offer.

The current Premier League table makes for interesting reading. Manchester United sit in sixth position, some seventeen points behind the runaway leaders Chelsea.

But, more importantly, United are four points adrift of a Champions League place, something that is the minimum achievement this season.

One media source, the Daily Mail has highlighted the implications of Manchester United not qualifying for the Champions League for the second successive season.

For a start, the failure to make the Champions League will see the kit revenue United currently receive from Adidas cut by 20%

United would also miss out on £60 million of television revenue and the need to cut hospitality season tickets and VIP packages by 5% would also mean a loss of £3 million, making a grand total of £85 million, quite a hefty figure I`m sure you will agree.

Better pick up the three points on offer this afternoon then lads!
