As we`d discussed the other day, United`s proposed new kit deal has become reality.

The club have announced that a £40 million deal, spread over four years, has been signed with DHL.

United will now wear training kit carrying the logo of the multi-national company for Premier League matches, but not for Champions League matches.

Speaking about the deal, our chief executive, David Gill, had this to say,

“We are delighted that DHL has chosen to pioneer training kit sponsorship with the club.”

Also, as the club continues to reap the financial rewards from its unique brand name, the club have also announced a sponsorship deal with a Vietnamese mobile phone company called Beeline.

This deal will see Beeline distribute United content to supporters in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.

With United rumoured to have 16 million fans in Vietnam alone, it goes to show just how much of a global brand our name, and that of the Premier League, has become.
