The Future Of This Manchester United Player Isn’t As Clear Cut As First Thought

|

Just over a week ago, here at Vital Manchester United, we provided an update on the immediate future of our Chilean forward, Alexis Sanchez.

Our article – united-misfit-could-be-remaining-where-he-is-claim – covered the possibility of Sanchez remaining with Inter Milan.

However, at the time, we weren’t sure whether any deal would be a permanent one of an extension of his current season-long loan deal.

Today, courtesy of The Mirror, we are able to confirm that it is indeed an extension of his current loan deal and will see the Chilean remain with Inter until at least the end of the current season.

But our referenced source is keen to point out that the Inter boss, Giuseppe Marotta, is struggling to reach a deal with Manchester United.

With Ole Gunnar Solksjaer wanting to spend big this summer, one of the necessities is to get Sanchez of the Old Trafford books, with the player on a reputed £450,000 a week, an enormous amount considering Sanchez has never replicated the form he showed with Arsenal whilst wearing our famous shirt.

Hopefully, a deal can be struck to keep Sanchez in Milan and, come the summer, a permanent deal can be made to get Sanchez off our books.

We can but hope!
