It`s time for our daily update on the future of David De Gea!

Today, 12th May 2015, the insinuation being bandied about is that our 24 year-old Spanish keeper is now set to force the issue when it comes to which club he plays for next season.

Reports suggest that De Gea is set to tell Manchester United that he wishes to leave Old Trafford to make a return to Spain with Real Madrid.

It seems that the renowned agent, Jorge Mendes, has negotiated a five year deal said to be worth £130,000 a week with the Spanish giants.

Real Madrid have, reputedly, had a bid in the region of £18 million turned down for the keeper and are set to test United`s resolve with a bid of £25 million.

It`s also being reported that Real Madrid want the deal done and dusted so that De Gea has settled in with the club ahead of their trip to Australia to play AS Roma on July 18th.

Shall we see what tomorrow brings?
