John Terry believes Manchester United have reached their peak during the last two seasons. Well, he must know it as he most certainly hasn’t.

But does he have a point? Let’s see what he had to say.

‘I don’t think they have got another level to go to,’ he said.

‘They’ve had a lot of players in their team who have hit the peak of their form in the last two years.’

‘Rio’s been awesome. Ronaldo’s been unbelievable. I don’t think we’ll ever see that again. Rooney, Tevez, Giggs at his age – they’ve all been fantastic.’

Well, saying that Rio and Ronaldo have room to improve would be plain daft – I know it full well that they’ve been playing in the form of their lives. Rooney and Tevez, on the other hand… well, suffice to say that they should score more, especially our young Englishman.

But what does Terry have to do with it? I mean, does he have nothing better to do? Refine his penalty-taking technique, for example? HE certainly hasn’t been at his peak for the past two seasons – or if he has, then we should lose little sleep over the threat of Chelsea…
