Following the draw against Tottenham Hostpur, United jetted off to Qatar for some warm weather training.

With the country in the grip of an icy blast that has seen huge areas of the country blanketed in snow, United will be enjoying four days of sunshine in the Middle East.

Speaking about the sunshine break and the chance to get some sun on their backs and refresh some jaded muscles, Michael Carrick has remarked,

“I think it will be an important break for us. It`s a busy season and there are busy times ahead.”

Indeed there are and as long as jet-lag and tiredness don`t affect our next performance, against Fulham, then this trip should prove to be rewarding.
