Over in the land of sunshine and extreme heat, Sir Alex Ferguson has once again spoken to the attentive media.

This time, when pressed on our disciplinary record (off the field), Sir Alex has remarked,

“I think sometimes there is an unfair focus on Unite don disciplinary issues.”

“It will always be there and I think we know that.”

“I don`t really know whether it`s about me or the club, that`s a difficult one. Maybe there is some resentment about United at the top level because of our success since the Premier League began.”

“I think that has got something to do with it, really.”

“They have certainly always found a way to treat us differently.”

“It`s been happening for a while now and they always seem to find a way to do us when, with others, it`s seemingly forgotten.”

“Personally I felt hard done by last season.”

“I defend my club, that`s my job.”

“Part of the problem is that when I make comments, the media are on the FA right away.”

“There is no doubt about that.”

“They`re afraid at what might happen if they don`t”

Strong views there from Sir Alex but is he right or is he becoming a little paranoid?
