Transfer speculation today (Wednesday), continues to link Manchester United with a move for a left-back.
According to the red-top tabloid publication, the Sun, Manchester United are still keen to bring the Tottenham Hotspur left-back, Danny Rose, to Old Trafford.
However, our source is adamant that Tottenham Hotspur will not let the 27-year-old England international go on the cheap.
Seemingly, Tottenham Hotspur want a £40 million cash fee for Rose plus Luke Shaw included in the deal as well.
Shaw’s Old Trafford future has been speculated on many-a-time on the pages of Vital Manchester United and his departure, this summer, seems inevitable.
But, sat here in the Vital Manchester United editorial chair, I have my doubts that the proposed deal is one that would be approved by the Manchester United hierarchy, quite possibly, because it would value Rose somewhere in the region of £60+ million, quite a price I think you’ll agree!
