Now this, on the eve of our Premier League fixture against Tottenham will have the North London hordes up in arms.

The former Manchester United, Tottenham and England striker Teddy Sheringham has had his input on a piece of speculation that has been doing the rounds for ages.

Hardly a week goes by without the name of Harry Kane being mentioned in transfer gossip with a move to Old Trafford.

After suggesting, last season, we had our fears that Harry Kane might be a one-season wonder, we`ve been proven wrong with Kane being the most prolific scorer in the Premier League in 2016, with eleven goals.

But Sheringham, speaking in the Mail on Sunday, has suggested that if 22-year-old Kane gets the chance to move to Old Trafford he should give it the utmost consideration.

Clearly Sheringham is of the belief that despite the progress Tottenham have made over the past eighteen months, Manchester United are by far the bigger club.

And who are we to argue?
