Southampton v Manchester United – Early Team-News

|

Tomorrow (Sunday), Manchester United face a difficult trip to the south coast to take on a Southampton side that have started the season remarkably well.

Indeed, at one stage of the season, they topped the Premier League table.

It is fair to say that Manchester United’s away form has been far better than their home form but the clash, live on Sky Sports, has the potential to be a classic.

Ahead of the clash, we are now able to bring you the early team news courtesy of those who are fit to play and those who are not.

Starting with Southampton, we find that our hosts will be without the services of two influential players with both Danny Ings and Nathan Redmond missing through knee and hamstring injuries.

However, despite having a broken bone in his wrist, the recent acquisition, Theo Walcott, will play.

Continuing with Manchester United, it is looking very much as if Ole Gunnar Solksjaer will not be able to call upon the services of Paul Pogba, Luke Shaw or Scott McTominay.

But, on a positive note, Marcus Rashford, Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are all available for selection, if required.

On what is going to be a close game, I reckon Manchester United will edge it 2-1, quite possibly with a late winner.

How do you see this game ending?
