If only Manchester United could have held on to grab a victory against Liverpool instead of conceding that late equaliser.
A victory would have lifted the club up to 7th in the Premier league table instead of the 13th place we currently occupy.
Moving up to 7th would have eased the pressure the media are starting to place on Ole Gunnar Solksjaer with the Norwegian’s future, at the club, being questioned after what has proven to be a shaky start to the 2019 / 2020 season.
Already the name of the former Juventus manager, Allegri, is being linked as the popular successor to Solksjaer.
Thankfully, despite the shaky start, the Manchester United support remains fully behind their former player and any anger at the way the club is slipping down from the pinnacle it once occupied is being directed at Ed Woodward and the Glazer family.
However, being Manchester United through-and-through, Solksjaer is only too aware of the success our club craves and needs and, according to the news source, The Metro, would be prepared to consider his future at the club if he believed his presence, in the managerial role, was damaging the club.
Hopefully, that scenario will not emerge but how close are we to being in a position whereby a change in the managerial position might become a distinct possibility?

I would say 100% it would benefit Man U for the Gollum to depart. Big fish, small pond syndrome, if he were to go back to Molde. He should do the right thing and bugger off. Hopefully he will take Woodward with him.
