Having established himself as a manager with huge potential, in his native Norway, the former United striker, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is again linked with a managerial job in England.

This time around, Ole is linked with the job at the Reebok Stadium vacated by the sacking of Owen Coyle.

Ole was scheduled, yesterday to be appearing (and speaking) at the ‘Leaders in Football Conference being held at Stamford Bridge. However, a late withdrawal followed by the suggestion that the Bolton Wanderers chairman, Phil Garside, was also in London has fuelled speculation that Ole was deep in talks about the vacant Bolton job.

Garside, having dispensed with the services of Owen Coyle, is keen to appoint a vibrant young manager. Is Ole that man? We can only wait and see!
