After having already committed to print one article on Harry Maguire appearing in the starting eleven, against Newcastle United, this Saturday evening, further information has come to light.

In our earlier article – manchester-united-support-believe-maguire-should-not-be-in-the-starting-xi-for-the-newcastle-fixture – we pointed out that you believed, via our poll, Maguire should not feature in the starting eleven.

However, at his press conference, ahead of the game, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has given his thoughts on the very same subject with the boss remarking, as quoted by The BBC

“When Harry beats the number-one ranked team in the world in Belgium it’s a normal day. Then you get the headlines when you get a sending off, that’s football. You have to deal with it.

“Harry has got great resilience. He knows he will bounce back. He wants to play and work his way out of the last couple of games he’s been criticised for.”

Which would seem to suggest Maguire will be leading the team out at St James Park this Saturday evening.

Or will he?

Continuing, Solksjaer added:

“But he picked up a knock just before he came off the other night so we’ll have a look at him today.”

I am guessing he possibly kicked those Danish players just a little too hard the other night!
