David De Gea was outraged at the end of the 2-1 victory at Anfield.

Those who saw the incident in the last few minutes when De Gea rushed out to thwart the on-rushing Martin Skrtel would have clearly seen that the Slovakian purposely stamped on our keepers leg.

The referee, Martin Atkinson, didn`t see the incident and De Gea had to be held back from over-enforcing his point of view.

But, thankfully, it seems those gentleman down at the Football Association did see exactly what Skrtel got up to and have subsequently charged the 30-year old defender.

Skrtel has until 18:00 hours tonight to respond to the charge but the consensus of opinion is that once the Football Association charges you, you end up getting punished.

Here at Vital Manchester United we`re expecting the tough-nut centre-back to receive a three game ban, otherwise justice will have been seen not to have been done!
