Well everyone has to start somewhere!

A former Manchester United legend, someone who played a significant part in that wonderful Champions League final win over Bayern Munich, when United came back from the dead to win the trophy, could be set to make his first in-roads in the world of football management.

Teddy Sheringham, now forty-nine years of age, has, for the last year, been employed by our Premier League rivals West Ham United, as a striking coach.

However, Sheringham has been given permission to speak to the League Two club, Stevenage, about becoming thir manager.

In a statement, Stevenage have remarked about our former striker,

“Stevenage FC have confirmed they are in talks with Teddy Sheringham with a view to him taking over as manager next season.”

If Sheringham does get the job, it`ll be interesting to see how he fares, we`ll certainly keep an eye on events in Hertfordshire!
