I`ve always had the impression, for reasons unknown to me, that Paul Scholes might not adapt to the coaching side of things.

Scholes, a United legend, decided to call it a day at the end of last season, leaving us with some wonderful memories.

Since retiring he`s started to help out on the coaching side but has been honest enough to admit that it may not be his cup of tea, commenting,

“I`ve joined in with Warren Joyce, who runs the reserves.”

“He`s been looking after me, showing me the ropes, and I`ve mainly been training with them so far, just giving bits of advice where I see the need.”

“I`ve started my badges, but I haven`t made my mind up about coaching. If I feel I can succeed and be half decent, I`ll carry on. But if I don`t think I`ll be any good at it, I won`t pursue it.”

All I`ll say is you`ve got to admire his refreshing honesty.
