The future of Javier Hernandez continues to generate newspaper column inches.

We`ve kind of accepted that the Mexican striker is set to leave Old Trafford to get regular first team football, it`s just a matter of where that we need to uncover.

Earlier this summer Hernandez was linked with a move to Southampton, at the time it was a move that, we heard, didn`t appeal to Javier.

However, it seems that Southampton are set to come back and try to sign the player with an offer of £15 million being made.

Hernandez, after Southampton have sold so many of their first team of last season, is seen as a signing that will lift the spirits of the Southampton supporters.

However, sat in the editorial chair at Vital Manchester United, I can`t see this one happening, if Javier wasn`t interested in a move to Southampton before they sold the likes of Shaw, Lallana, Lovren and Lambert, I doubt he`ll be interested now!
