Barclays Premier League fixtures for 2007/08 have been announced, revealing that United will begin their title defence with a home game against Reading.

It is the third season in a row when the Chelsea v United game has been put into April, thus making it a potential title decider – it’s a bit suspicious for me.

United will visit the Eastlands as early as August, on the same day when Liverpool host Chelsea. Roy Keane will have the chance to prove himself to his former boss in September – in the very same month when Chelsea visit Old Trafford.

November will see us trying to collect our first points at Emirates for the second attempt while a month later O’Shea will be given the chance to repeat his Anfield heroics.

Unlike last season, this time we’ll play two of our three biggest rivals at home in the second part of the season – I don’t know if that’s an advantage but we’ll see.
