In some far and distant territory, some 2,100 miles away, Manchester United will engage in Europa League competition with FC Rostov.

The fixture is a last-16 first leg tie with both sides looking to reach the quarter-final stages and move that much closer to winning the competition and securing a place in the Champions League next season.

Ahead of the tie, Jose Mourinho has already declared the pitch as a field, criticising the surface as being not fit for purpose.

Our belief is that the playing surface could be a great leveller and that Mourinho may take a cautious approach to what may turn out to be a low-scoring game.

With the 18:00 hours kick off fast approaching we now have the team-sheets for you to mull over:

Rostov – Medvedev; Kalachev, Mevlja, Navas, Granat, Kudryashov; Noboa, Erokhin, Gatskan; Poloz, Bukharov

Subs – Terentjev, Kireev, Bayramyan, Azmoun, Prepelita, Goshev

Manchester United – Romero, Young, Jones, Smalling, Blind, Rojo, Pogba, Fellaini, Herrera, Mkhitaryan, Ibrahimovic

Subs – De Gea, Mata, Martial, Lingard, Carrick, Valencia, Rashford
