Now I`m a big fan of Wayne but a few comments I stumbled across in the tabloid press have me puzzled.
Now they`ve either been taken out of context or Wayne is being very optimistic with his views when he`s quoted as having remarked,
“We can hold our heads up high. There are a lot of young players in the squad.”
“It`s a sad feeling but it will help us going into the qualifiers for the next tournament.”
Hold our heads up high, are you sure?
