Tonight Wayne Rooney stands on the brink of yet another milestone.

Now recovered from the knee injury, sustained in February, that kept him on the side-lines, the club captain currently has 99 Premier League goals to his name at Old Trafford.

If Rooney hits the back of the net tonight, by my mathematics that 99 becomes 100 goals, a feat that has only ever been achieved once before in the Premier League.

The only ever previous marksman to notch 100 at a single Premier League being the former Arsenal forward Thierry Henry, who scored 114 goals at Highbury.

Rooney, in the past twelve months or so, has set so many scoring records, I reckon that the 114 goals of Thierry Henry is only safe for another eighteen months or so before the record belongs to Rooney.
